He gently wipes away the sweat dripping down against his forehead using the sleeve of his hakama. He peers down the heated pathway with an enduring silence, hoping to better acclimate himself better to his scorching surroundings. Trotting behind him is a large Tyranitar who seems rather grumpy about being out and about.

Snorting begrudgingly at its trainer, the Tyranitar steps forward, letting out a loud grunt, hoping that the pair can simply leave; however, Ken is unwilling. He looks back at the large dinosaur-like pokemon, giving it a cold glare. A shiver runs down its spine as it stares directly back at the smaller being. It turns away letting out another snort in the process and the two continue along their way.

A tiny Slugma manages to block the Tyranitar’s path. It glares down at the tiny lava slug and lets out a giant roar. Startled by the sudden outburst, it turns to see the large rock lizard lumbering towards it. Watching its approach, the Slugma is quick to flee off into the distance as the ranger lets out a sigh, following after it casually.

The wild Pyroar stares at Ken like a tasteful morsel as it hides away behind a large rock. Like a true predator, it waits patiently for him to pass by. As the gym leader passes by the rock, it leaps out, letting out a loud roar but the Tyranitar is swift and slams its stone-like arm against the lioness's maw.

Gojira lets out another roar as it stares down at the lion, disregarding it simply as trash. Realizing that it bit off more than it could chew, the Pyroar runs off.

Spying the Camerupt further off in the distance, he can tell that Gojira's interested in starting a fight, just to rile him up. Shaking his head, he whistles over to the large Tyranitar, waving for it to follow him as he leaves the area. He's not interested in dealing with the lava camel in front of them.
